Resistance Units Warn Against Fuel Price Hikes
Iran’s Resistance Units, affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and rebellious youth reportedly carried out 60 operations on Thursday, August 27.
The activities took place across 27 cities and areas in Iran. They targeted centers linked to the regime’s repressive apparatus, including IRGC and Basij bases.
The operations came with a clear warning:
“If you raise prices, all of Iran will turn into hell and fire as it did in 2019.”
According to the report, the message targeted the regime’s plans to raise gasoline and fuel prices. The Resistance Units warned that such measures would further burden Iran’s people.
The reported operations took place in Tehran, Karaj, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Shiraz, Zahedan, Chabahar, Arak, Dezful, and other cities.
A Warning to the Supreme Leader’s Regime
The activities also targeted institutions linked to the Supreme Leader and the regime’s financial networks.
In Tehran, Resistance Units reportedly targeted the headquarters of the Supreme Leader’s representative in the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization with Molotov cocktails.
The report describes the organization as a major channel of financial corruption. It alleges that the institution takes money from pilgrims and citizens and directs revenues toward the regime’s propaganda and security apparatus.
Meanwhile, in Mashhad, an explosion reportedly shook the District 6 Municipality building.
According to the report, the regime had turned the building into an operations center. It allegedly used the site to mobilize IRGC forces and Basij militias against protesters.
IRGC and Basij Bases Targeted
The reported activities also focused on IRGC and Basij bases in several cities.
In Karaj, Shadegan, and Dezful, the Resistance Units reportedly targeted Basij bases with incendiary devices.
These bases are used for repressive patrols and security operations, according to the report.
In Iranshahr and Kermanshah, Resistance Units reportedly targeted Basij headquarters and student Basij centers.
The report says the regime uses these student centers to monitor young people and suppress student activities.
Similarly, Resistance Units reportedly targeted security and intelligence centers in Borazjan and Borujen.
According to the report, these centers help security forces pursue activists and suppress protests.
In Borujen, the reported activities were accompanied by chants of:
“Hail to Rajavi! Death to the principle of Velayat-e Faqih.”
Resistance Units Target Surveillance Networks
In Chabahar, rebellious youth reportedly targeted facilities linked to the regime’s surveillance networks.
The city is located in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
According to the report, the targets included facilities linked to the Ministry of Intelligence and informant networks affiliated with the IRGC Basij.
The report says these networks monitor members of the Baluch community. It also alleges that they help security forces pursue dissidents and facilitate arrests.
Ideological Centers Also Targeted
The reported operations also targeted ideological centers in Mashhad and Kermanshah.
Resistance Units reportedly used explosions and incendiary bottles against these centers.
According to the report, such institutions provide ideological support for the regime’s repression.
The report also accuses them of justifying executions, discrimination against women, property confiscations, and policies that deepen poverty.
Burning Regime Propaganda
Resistance Units and rebellious youth also reportedly burned regime propaganda banners and murals.
The activities targeted images of Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, Ruhollah Khomeini, and other regime figures.
In Mashhad, Shiraz, Zahedan, Saravan, Sarbaz, and Kermanshah, banners featuring regime leaders were reportedly set on fire.
In Sarbaz, the activities were accompanied by the chant:
“Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Supreme Leader.”
In Zabol, banners and images of regime President Masoud Pezeshkian were reportedly burned.
The report presents the action as a rejection of reformist claims within the regime.
Rejecting the Regime’s Regional Proxies
The reported activities also targeted images of Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
The banners were reportedly burned in Tehran, Shiraz, Semirom, Saveh, Dezful, and Arak.
The activities included slogans such as:
“Death to Khamenei! Long live the National Liberation Army of Iran! Hail to Rajavi.”
Warning Against Another Fuel Price Shock
The 60 reported operations delivered a broader warning to the regime.
According to the report, any new increase in gasoline and fuel prices could trigger another nationwide uprising.
The report recalls Iran’s November 2019 uprising. That uprising began after the regime sharply increased gasoline prices.
The Resistance Units say the regime cannot solve its financial problems by imposing further pressure on the people.
Instead, the report calls for an end to systematic poverty and the recovery of Iran’s national wealth.
“No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs”
The Iranian Resistance continues to emphasize its position against both the former monarchy and the current clerical regime.
Its stated position is summarized in the slogan:
“No to the Shah, no to the mullahs.”
According to the report, the Iranian people seek neither a return to the former monarchy nor the continuation of the clerical dictatorship.
Instead, the Iranian Resistance calls for a democratic republic.
It says Iran’s wealth should serve its people and their freedom.
