MEK Resistance Units Carry Out 30 Activities in Iranian Cities, Reaffirming the Call-for-Justice Movement

MEK Resistance Units commemorate the 1988 massacre victims and reaffirm the continuation of the Call-for-Justice movement.

Iran – August 12, 2026: MEK Resistance Units carried out 30 activities in several Iranian cities. The activities honored the victims of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners.

The actions included displaying photographs of the massacre victims, holding photo-op displays, putting up posters, and writing slogans on walls.

The activities also reaffirmed the continuation of the Call-for-Justice movement. The Resistance Units called for justice and accountability until the overthrow of Iran’s clerical regime.

Slogans Honoring the Victims of the 1988 Massacre

Several activities featured messages from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and Mr. Massoud Rajavi.

One message from Maryam Rajavi read:

“The Call-for-Justice movement will continue until the overthrow of the massacre regime.”

Another message from Massoud Rajavi stated:

“We are stronger than death, execution, and massacre.”

A second message from Maryam Rajavi said:

“The massacre of the prisoners in 1988 was carried out on Khomeini’s orders.”

Another message from Massoud Rajavi read:

“The only response to the regime’s executions and massacres is fire.”

The activities also featured messages honoring the victims of the 1988 massacre. They stressed the need to continue the struggle for justice.

Tehran: Photos of 1988 Massacre Victims Displayed

The largest number of reported activities took place in Tehran.

Resistance Units held several photo-op displays. Large, full-color photographs of Maryam Rajavi and Massoud Rajavi were displayed with messages about the Call-for-Justice movement.

They also installed printed photographs of victims of the 1988 massacre.

The photographs included Ashraf Ahmadi, Majid Khademi, Seyed Hamid Khezri, and Farahnaz Ahmadi.

Other displayed photographs included Mohammad Marandi and Monireh Rajavi.

Photographs of Rashed Ma’doumi, Dr. Gholamhossein Rashidian, and Mohammad Nouri Nik were also displayed.

The activities also featured photographs of Parviz Nik-Talehan, Fatemeh (Tahmineh) Pashnesaz, and Massoud Alaee Haslano.

Photographs of Mahboobeh Haj Ali and Massoud Khoshroo were also installed.

Other photographs included Reza Mohammadi Bahmanabadi, Masoumeh Amini, Massoud Dalvand, and Maryam Khanban.

Photographs of Mostafa Omrani, Esmail Mirbagheri, and Morteza Nourabadi Farahani were also displayed.

The leaflets were placed on walls, house doors, cars, car windows, and street columns. Some photographs were arranged side by side in rows.

Kerman: A Call for Justice as a National Commitment

In Kerman, Resistance Units installed a printed poster featuring Maryam Rajavi.

The poster carried the message:

“Seeking justice for the martyrs of the 1988 massacre is a national commitment.”

The message emphasized the importance of keeping the memory of the victims alive.

Tabriz: Honoring the Heroes of the 1988 Massacre

In Tabriz, Resistance Units installed a poster featuring Maryam Rajavi.

The poster carried the message:

“The heroes massacred in 1988 inspire those rising up in the rebellious cities.”

The message linked the memory of the 1988 massacre victims with the current protest movement in Iran.

Sonqor: The Call-for-Justice Movement Continues

In Sonqor, Resistance Units held a photo-op featuring a large image of Maryam Rajavi.

The display carried the slogan:

“The Call-for-Justice movement will continue until the overthrow of the massacre regime.”

The same slogan was displayed with a large arrangement of printed photographs on a vehicle.

Mashhad and Kermanshah: Wall Writing

In Mashhad, Resistance Units wrote the following slogan on a wall:

“By the blood of our comrades, we swear we are armed and ready in the field.”

In Kermanshah, another wall carried the slogan:

“The blood of the 1988 massacre boils.”

Both slogans honored the victims of the 1988 massacre. They also conveyed a message of continued resistance.

Cities Where the Activities Took Place

The reported activities took place in six Iranian cities:

The activities included photo-op displays, poster installations, photographs of the 1988 massacre victims, and wall writing.

Through these actions, MEK Resistance Units reaffirmed the Call-for-Justice movement. They also called for accountability for those responsible for the 1988 massacre.
