
From Tehran and Kashan to Malayer and Kermanshah, PMOI/MEK Resistance Units call for the abolition of death sentences and support for political prisoners sentenced to death
Iran – August 18, 2026: As the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign entered its 134th consecutive week, Resistance Units and freedom-loving Iranians in cities across Iran carried out protest activities, including displaying posters, photo actions, and wall writings, expressing their opposition to the death penalty.
The activities emphasized solidarity with political prisoners sentenced to death and condemned criminal executions. The slogans called for the abolition of death sentences, resistance to repression, and the continuation of the struggle for freedom.
A Flower Tribute

Tehran
- A poster carried the slogan:
“From Qezel Hesar to across the country, No to executions — No to Execution Tuesdays campaign.” - Another poster read:

Kermanshah

“Political prisoners must be freed.”
Karaj
- A poster was installed carrying the slogan:

- A slogan stated:
“Executions will not intimidate us; instead, our determination to overthrow the regime will become even stronger.” - A poster carried the slogan:

Eslamshahr
- A wall writing stated:
“Executing young people is the shame of the rulers.” - Another wall carried the slogan:

A Nationwide Call Against Executions
The activities carried out in cities across Iran during the 134th week of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign highlighted opposition to the death penalty and called attention to the situation of political prisoners facing execution.
Through posters, photo actions, wall writings, flower tributes, and protest slogans, the Resistance Units and freedom-loving Iranians reiterated their call for the abolition of death sentences and an end to executions in Iran, while expressing solidarity with political prisoners.
