61 Operations as the Regime Remains on Alert

61 years of struggle against the Shah and clerical dictatorships marked by Resistance Units operations across cities in Iran

The 61st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) was marked by 61 operations carried out by the Resistance Units in cities across Iran, including explosions, arson targeting banners and signs, and attacks on locations associated with the regime’s security, intelligence, judicial, and Basij apparatus.

The operations took place in Tehran, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Bushehr, Chabahar, Iranshahr, Bam, Zahedan, Torbat-e Jam, Sarbaz, Pishin, Rask, Karaj, Shiraz, Qazvin, Birjand, Arak, Kashan, Maragheh, Borazjan, and other locations.

The reported operations carried out by the Resistance Units included:

  • Tehran: An explosion at the Robat Karim municipality, at a gathering place for regime suppressive forces.
  • Mashhad: An explosion at a seminary associated with the regime’s clerical establishment.
  • Gorgan: An explosion at a judicial institution.
  • Kohgiluyeh (Javardeh): An explosion at a Basij center of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
  • Chabahar: An explosion at an IRGC Basij base.
  • Iranshahr: An explosion at the regime’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance office.
  • Tehran: A banner depicting Ali Khamenei and Mojtaba Khamenei was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail.
  • Tehran: A sign marking an intelligence ministry espionage headquarters was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail.
  • Mashhad: A seminary associated with the regime was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail.
  • Kermanshah: A regime propaganda billboard featuring Ali Khamenei was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail.
  • Kermanshah: An IRGC Basij center was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail.
  • Bushehr, Kaki district: A judicial institution was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail, accompanied by the slogans “Death to Khamenei” and “Long live the Liberation Army.”
