
Memorials, Photo Actions, Audio Messages, and Poster Installations in Support of Political Prisoners and Against Executions
On September 15, 2026, coinciding with the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, PMOI/MEK Resistance Units carried out activities in cities across Iran, including Tehran, Karaj, Rasht, Tabriz, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Eslamshahr, Isfahan, Shiraz, Yazd, Varamin, Najafabad, Lahijan, and Malayer. The activities included memorial events, photo actions, audio messages, poster and sticker installations, and wall writings opposing executions and expressing solidarity with political prisoners.
Karaj – September 15, 2026
In Karaj, a memorial was held for PMOI martyr Mehdi Khanaki, featuring his photograph and a song. The memorial displayed the message:
“We swear by the blood of our comrades, we will stand until the end. We will always honor your memory in our struggle against the ruling reaction.”
Photo actions were also carried out in Karaj with the following slogans:
“Where is the body of executed prisoner Vahid Bani-Amirian, who has no grave?”
“Where is the body of executed prisoner Behrouz Ehsani, who has no grave?”
“Where is the body of executed prisoner Mehdi Hassani, who has no grave?”
“Where is the body of executed prisoner Babak Alipour, who has no grave?”
Rasht – September 15, 2026
In Rasht, an audio message was released in support of political prisoners facing execution and calling for the immediate annulment of the death sentences against Arghavan Fallahi, Farshad Etemadifar, Zahra Tabari, Mohammad-Javad Vafaei Sani, and Issa Chari.
Posters were also installed carrying the slogans:
“Abolish the unjust death sentence against Manouchehr Fallah.”
“We demand the abolition of Zahra Tabari’s death sentence.”
Tehran – September 15, 2026
In Tehran, another audio message was released in support of political prisoners, emphasizing the continuation of their path and resistance.
Two photo actions were also held with the slogan:
“No to the execution of Arghavan Fallahi.”
On the same day, posters were installed at several locations across the city carrying the message:
“Inform the families about the bodies of the executed prisoners who have no graves. No to executions.”

In Tabriz, a photo action was held featuring a photograph of Ehsan Faridi and the slogan:
“Do not execute. No to Execution Tuesdays.”
Another photo action featured a photograph of Issa Chari with the slogan:
“No to executions. No to Execution Tuesdays campaign.”
Mashhad – September 15, 2026
Photo actions were held in Mashhad with the following slogans:
“We demand the abolition of the death sentence against 22-year-old student Ehsan Faridi.”
“We demand the immediate abolition of Arghavan Fallahi’s death sentence.”
“No to the execution of Mohammad-Javad Vafaei Sani.”
Ahvaz – September 15, 2026
In Ahvaz, photo actions were held featuring photographs of Issa Chari and Farshad Etemadi, along with slogans opposing executions.
A poster was also installed carrying the slogan:
“No to the execution of Alireza Mardasi.”
Eslamshahr – September 15, 2026
Photo actions were held in Eslamshahr with the slogans:
“No to the execution of political prisoner Arghavan Fallahi.”
“No to the execution of boxing champion Mohammad-Javad Vafaei Sani.”
Isfahan – September 15, 2026
Two photo actions were held in Isfahan with the slogan:
“We condemn the execution of our loved ones. No to Execution Tuesdays.”
Shiraz – September 15, 2026
In Shiraz, stickers carrying the slogans “No to executions” and “We will continue” were placed on bus seats.
Yazd – September 15, 2026
In Yazd, a photo action was held with the slogan:
“Our response to executions is the red fire of uprising.”
Varamin – September 15, 2026
Photo actions were held in Varamin with the slogans:
“Where is the body of executed prisoner Behrouz Ehsani, who has no grave?”
“Where is the body of executed prisoner Ali-Akbar Daneshvarkar, who has no grave?”
Najafabad – September 15, 2026
In Najafabad, a photo action was held with the slogan:
“We demand the immediate abolition of the executions of Amir-Hassan Akbari and Masoud Jamei. Abolish the unjust sentences against Mansour Jamali and Manouchehr Fallah.”
Lahijan – September 15, 2026
In Lahijan, a photo action was held and posters were installed with the slogan:
“No to the execution of anyone. Execution is a crime against humanity.”
Malayer – September 15, 2026
In Malayer, two instances of wall writing were reported with the slogans:
“Down with the oppressor, whether Shah or anyone else.”
“Down with the dictator. Down with the oppressor, whether Shah or the Supreme Leader.”
