From Ramsar and Tehran to Mashhad, Sari, and Yazd, solidarity messages, slogans on walls, photo campaigns, and leaflet distributions protest death sentences and support political prisoners
Resistance Units in cities across Iran carried out protest and solidarity activities in support of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, marking its 144th week. The activities included writing slogans on walls, photo actions, distributing leaflets, and releasing an audio message condemning the death penalty and expressing support for political prisoners. The slogans and messages called for the abolition of death sentences, the release of political prisoners, and resistance to repression.
Ramsar
★ An audio message was released with the following statement:
“Political prisoners are not alone; their demands are the demands of the entire Iranian people. We call for the abolition of inhumane death sentences and the release of all political prisoners. Know that we will never bow our heads to the noose or the deprivation of freedom. An Iran without executions is our demand, and freedom is the right of the Iranian people.”
Tehran
