MEK Resistance Units display anti-dictatorship banners and placards across Zahedan on October 30, 2026.

October 30, 2026 — Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeast Iran: Resistance Units of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) resumed their weekly anti-regime activities across Zahedan, displaying numerous banners, placards, and leaflets bearing messages from Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). The activities highlighted the call for resistance against dictatorship and emphasized the rejection of all forms of tyranny, whether monarchical or religious, under the Shah or the mullahs, while calling for freedom, equality, and the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran.

Messages from Iranian Resistance Leaders Massoud and Maryam Rajavi

Rejecting Both Monarchical and Religious Dictatorships

“The policy of ‘Neither Shah nor mullahs’ is the only democratic, national, patriotic, and revolutionary policy in the present historical condition.”

“The Shah’s son represents a manufactured alternative that sabotages the Iranian people’s popular movement—serving in practice as an effective lifeline to the clerical regime”

“To the remnants of the Shah and the mullahs, the Shah’s son and Khamenei’s child, we say: we are not part of the problem, but the entire obstacle in the path of reaction and colonialism, specifically dictatorship and dependency.”

“To the people of Iran, the Shah’s son stands as a symbol of foreign dependency and an attempt to resurrect monarchical dictatorship—openly declaring that he takes pride in every act of his father’s regime”

“The doctrine of ‘Neither Shah nor Mullahs’ is the true heritage and historical evolution of Dr. Mossadegh’s doctrine of Negative Equilibrium”

“The great lesson of two wars and an uprising over 40 years is that returning to puppet monarchical fascism is nothing more than a mirage.”

Freedom, Democracy, and the Establishment of a Democratic Republic

“Relying on the massive force that was unleashed in the anti-monarchical revolution, the Iranian Resistance embarked on the path of Iran’s progress, democracy, and independence.”

“The society and relations that we desire is a society liberated from the culture of the Shah and the mullahs, liberated from tyranny and dependency, liberated from discrimination and plundering.”

“In the uprisings, the Iranian people expressed their desire for the rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether the Shah or the mullahs.”

“Today, the regime is weaker, more helpless, and devoid of solutions than ever before, standing on the brink of being overthrown.”

“In contemporary history, the name of the MEK echoes the relentless fight for freedom and Iran’s liberation from both monarchical and clerical dictatorships—the very reason they have consistently been the primary target of massacres and state terror”

“Instead of providing safe infrastructure, timely warnings, and immediate relief against floods, the mullahs’ plundering regime squanders the country’s wealth on repression and nuclear and missile projects.”

“Regime change and the establishment of a free Iran is the responsibility of the Iranian people and their Resistance”

“The criminal mullahs’ regime cannot dishearten a people who are fighting for a democratic republic.”

Rejecting Both Monarchical and Religious Dictatorships and Calling for a Democratic Republic in Iran

“From Zahedan to Tehran, down with the oppressor, be it the shah or the supreme leader”

“A dictator is a dictator, whether with a crown or a turban”

“No to shah, no to mullahs. Yes to freedom and a democratic republic”

“No to monarchy, no to mullahs’ rule, yes to freedom and equality”

“No to shah, no to mullahs, yes to freedom and democratic republic”
