Stockholm, Sweden—January 6, 2023: Members of the Iranian community and Iranian Resistance (NCRIand MEK) supporters held a rally on the third anniversary of the deliberate and criminal firing of missiles at a Ukrainian passenger plane, killing 176 innocent passengers by the IRGC.
The Iranian regime has escaped accountability and not faced justice for deliberately downing a passenger plane, the mass executions in the 1980s, the massacre of the people of Kurdistan, the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988, the slaughter of 1,500 Iranians in November 2019, and the colossal casualties of the Coronavirus and other crimes of the regime in the past 44 years.
Iranians announced the imperative that the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) commanders, judiciary officials, and members of the clerical regime’s Security Council should be prosecuted and held accountable.
In their rally in Stockholm, Iranians demanded the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime. Furthermore, freedom-loving Iranians called for the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization and the closure of the regime’s embassies in Sweden and all European countries.
They also expressed solidarity with the nationwide Iran protests. It is worth mentioning that Friday, January 6, 2023, marked the 113th day of the continuous anti-regime protests across Iran.
