Munich, February 14, 2025 – As the 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC) unfolds, freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and the Iranian Resistance gathered in front of the conference venue to demand a decisive policy against the Iranian regime.
Demonstrators called for the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s right to resist the ruling religious dictatorship. They urged the European Union, Canada, and global leaders to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization due to its role in domestic repression, regional warmongering, and global terrorism.
Protesters also voiced support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and its Ten-Point Plan, led by President-elect Maryam Rajavi, advocating for a free, democratic Iran.

In a message to the rally, Maryam Rajavi praised the demonstrators for displaying the Iranian people’s unwavering resolve to achieve freedom and justice. She emphasized that the clerical regime is in its final phase and that the policy of appeasement has only emboldened its repression and terrorism. Rajavi reiterated that the Iranian people are determined to overthrow the regime and establish a democratic republic, warning that any investment in the mullahs’ rule is doomed to fail.

Key Demands of the Demonstrators:
- A shift in international policy, rejecting appeasement and adopting a firm stance against the Iranian regime.
- Activation of the UN Security Council’s “snapback” mechanism to reinstate previous sanctions and dismantle the regime’s nuclear program.
- Blacklisting the IRGC as a terrorist entity and expelling its operatives from Europe and other countries.
- Conditioning all negotiations with the regime on halting executions, torture, and terrorism.
- Recognizing the Iranian people’s struggle to overthrow the regime as a legitimate movement for freedom and democracy.
The rally sent a clear message: the clerical regime is crumbling, and the Iranian people are determined to establish a democratic republic. The international community must take a stand against religious fascism and support the Iranian people’s fight for freedom.
