Paris Free Iran Rally: Grand Demonstration in Paris on February 8, 2025

Paris, France – On February 8, 2025, a massive of activists, human rights advocates, and Iranian diaspora members will gather at Place Denfert-Rochereau in Paris for the Free Iran Rally. Organized by Call4Freedom.org and IranNet.org, the event seeks to amplify demands for justice, human rights, and freedom for the people of Iran.

The rally coincides with the anniversary of the 1979 revolution, a historic moment when the Iranian people overthrew the Shah’s dictatorship, only to see their movement co-opted by Ruhollah Khomeini, ushering in a new era of authoritarian rule under the mullahs. Today, more than four decades later, Iranians continue their struggle against tyranny, fighting for democracy and fundamental freedoms.

A Call to End Human Rights Violations

The protest comes at a crucial time, as reports indicate a shocking rise in executions under the Iranian regime. At least 638 prisoners, including 22 women, have been executed during the tenure of President Masoud Pezeshkian, underscoring the government’s brutal repression of dissent. Activists argue that these executions are part of a broader campaign to silence opposition and maintain the regime’s grip on power.

“The world must hear the voices of the Iranian people who are fighting for freedom at great personal risk,” said a spokesperson for Call4Freedom.org. “This rally is an urgent call to action to end the executions and human rights abuses in Iran.”

Why the Rally Matters

The Free Iran Rally aims to:

  • Demand an immediate end to state-sanctioned executions and human rights violations in Iran.
  • Show solidarity with Iranians striving for democracy and freedom.
  • Honor the legacy of the 1979 revolution and its opposition to all forms of dictatorship.

Supporters of the movement believe that international pressure is crucial in holding the Iranian government accountable for its oppressive actions. Protesters will gather in Paris to ensure that the world does not turn a blind eye to the suffering of the Iranian people.

How to Participate

The rally will begin at 2:00 PM at Place Denfert-Rochereau, located at 1 Avenue René Coty, Paris, IDF 75014, France. Organizers encourage attendees to share the event widely and bring friends and family to amplify their message. Google map and directions

As the struggle for democracy in Iran continues, events like the Free Iran Rally serve as powerful reminders that the fight against oppression transcends borders. Through unity and activism, supporters aim to push for a brighter future for Iran—one that upholds justice, freedom, and human dignity.
