Cologne, Germany — June 7, 2025 — Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Cologne to protest the Iranian regime’s intensifying human rights violations, particularly the death sentences imposed on political prisoners.
The demonstrators demanded the immediate abolition of these death penalties and the unconditional release of all political detainees. They condemned the regime’s ongoing oppression and expressed steadfast solidarity with the Iranian people’s struggle for democratic change.
The rally also paid tribute to those martyred during the Iranian revolution—individuals executed by the regime or killed in popular uprisings—while reaffirming the participants’ dedication to the pursuit of freedom, democracy, justice, and human rights.
Organizers in Cologne reiterated their commitment to establishing a democratic republic, rejecting all forms of dictatorship, whether under the current mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.
Additionally, they urged the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s resistance and the right of the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and oppression.
