Iranian Resistance Announces Major Mobilization in Paris Calling for Democratic Change in Iran

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has announced plans for a major “Paris Free Iran Rally” scheduled for Saturday, 20 June 2026, in Paris. The event, promoted under the hashtag #ParisFreeIranRally, is expected to draw more than 100,000 participants from across Europe and beyond.

Campaign Against Executions

The upcoming rally follows a series of grassroots activities organized by NCRI supporters in several European cities, including book tables, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns condemning executions in Iran.

Organizers say the demonstrations specifically highlight the cases of political prisoners and protesters arrested after the January 2026 uprising.

“No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs”

The Paris gathering will center on calls for a democratic and secular republic in Iran under the slogan “No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs.”

Supporters of the NCRI say the movement represents a viable alternative to the current ruling system and seeks to transfer power to the Iranian people through democratic means.

International Momentum Builds

Organizers expect the Paris rally to become one of the largest international opposition events related to Iran in 2026.

The event comes at a time of increasing international debate over Tehran’s human rights record, regional policies, and the growing pressure from Iranian opposition movements both inside and outside the country.
