100,000 People Expected to Gather in Paris in Support of Democratic Change in Iran
Amid growing international concern over Iran’s human rights record, tens of thousands of Iranians and supporters of freedom are expected to assemble in Paris on June 20, 2026, for a large-scale rally advocating democratic transformation in Iran.
The event, organized under the hashtags #100kFreeIranRally and #ParisFreeIranRally, is anticipated to draw more than 100,000 participants from across Europe and other regions of the world.
Backers of the Iranian Resistance and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) say the gathering aims to promote the vision of a free, secular, and democratic republic in Iran while rejecting all forms of dictatorship.
Rally Slogans Centered on Human Rights and Democracy
The main slogans planned for the event include:
- No to Executions
- No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs
- Yes to a Democratic Republic in Iran
According to organizers, the June 20 rally will also spotlight the condition of political prisoners and denounce the ongoing executions and repression carried out by the Iranian regime.
The demonstration follows months of grassroots activities and awareness campaigns organized by Iranian communities and resistance supporters throughout Europe, including exhibitions, public gatherings, and advocacy initiatives focused on human rights violations in Iran.
Observers say the Paris rally could become one of the largest international opposition events related to Iran in 2026, reflecting increasing support for democratic change and the Iranian people’s demand for freedom and popular sovereignty.
As of today, May 28, 2026, only 23 days remain until June 20, 2026.
