For over four decades a tyrannical regime has ruled Iran with an iron grip. The founding nation of the world’s first charter of human rights, now is the nation with the highest execution rate per capita in the world.

Thousands have been sent to the gallows in the quest for freedom, millions are living under daily suppression and under dire conditions.

Our story today, is that of the Phoenix rising from it’s ashes.

We are proud to say, we belong to a generation that has never bowed down to the dictator and continues to struggle for freedom on a daily basis, for over 40 years.

From June 20, 1981 when thousands of protesters took to the streets spontaneously to defend their liberties, to June 20, 2009 when Neda Agha Soltan was killed in the streets of Tehran

From the 13 year old Fatemeh Mesbah sent to the gallows at the age of 13 in 1981, to 14 year old Nikta Esfandani killed in the streets of Tehran in November 2019.

From Navid Afkari to Forouzan Abdi, and thousands of champions of freedom, the message has been one.

We shall overcome!

And freedom will ring throughout Iran!

As a grass-root movement we are the voice of the Iran protests

We are the cry of mothers seeking justice for the 1500 killed in Iran protests in November 2019

We are the chant of farmers protesting water shortages in the dried Zayandeh River of Isfahan

And the cry of those deprived of breathable air and clean running water while sitting on a sea of wealth in Ahvaz

We are the voice of political prisoners, incarcerated women’s rights, human rights, children’s rights activists
