Mrs. Rajavi Addresses German Lawmakers on Iran’s Nuclear Threat
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in an online conference with German parliamentarians and dignitaries, thanked them for their attention to Iran and its organized resistance. She highlighted a paradox inside the country: repression and executions are escalating, yet the people’s front is gaining strength.

Mrs. Rajavi recalled how tens of thousands gathered in Brussels for the 60th anniversary of the PMOI, calling for the fall of the clerical regime and the birth of a democratic republic. Similar rallies in New York echoed the same demand, amplifying the voices of protesters inside Iran.

Mrs. Rajavi emphasized the growing presence of Resistance Units across Tehran and other cities, citing the NCRI’s report of thousands of anti-repression operations within a year. She argued that these actions embody the will of tens of millions of Iranians determined to bring about change.

On nuclear issues, Mrs. Rajavi reminded the audience that the Iranian Resistance first exposed the regime’s secret weapons projects decades ago, blocking its path to the bomb. Yet appeasement, she warned, has allowed Tehran to move forward dangerously. While sanctions and the snapback mechanism are necessary, they alone cannot resolve the crisis. With Khamenei openly boasting about 60% enrichment and hundreds of kilograms of enriched uranium unaccounted for, the danger persists.

Exposing Tehran’s Nuclear Ambitions and the Danger of Appeasement
Mrs. Rajavi rejected the false binary of war or a nuclear-armed theocracy. The real solution, she argued, lies in the Iranian people’s struggle against clerical rule. Since the 2017–18 uprising, the conflict between citizens and the IRGC has only sharpened. Ignoring this, she said, has been Europe’s biggest mistake.

For two decades, she reiterated, the Resistance has maintained that appeasement and foreign intervention alike will fail.
