Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Message for Christmas and the New Year 2026
On the occasion of Christmas and the upcoming New Year, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), extended heartfelt greetings to Christians worldwide, particularly to Iranian Christians both inside and outside the country. She paid homage to the Virgin Mary, describing her as a timeless symbol of purity and liberation, and highlighted the birth of Jesus Christ as a message of hope, freedom, and justice for the oppressed.
The Light of Freedom and Revolution
Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that the true light of revolution lies in breaking mental and societal chains, advocating for the inevitability of freedom, and ending the domination of religious despotism in Iran. She hailed the selfless Iranian men and women who have endured hardship, imprisonment, and torture in their struggle for justice and freedom, calling them the “light and blessing of the world.” Quoting Christ, she noted, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down one’s life for others.”
Prayers for Prisoners and Fighters
The message also included prayers for political prisoners facing death sentences, for resistance fighters preparing for a significant uprising, and for the Iranian people who continue to oppose oppression and economic hardship. Mrs. Rajavi reaffirmed the Mojahedin’s six-decade-long struggle against tyranny and expressed hope for the ultimate liberation of Iran.
Wishes for 2026
Concluding her message, Mrs. Rajavi wished joy and prosperity for all peoples and especially for Christians in Iran and worldwide. She called for 2026 to be a year of major strides toward Iran’s freedom, global peace, and the well-being of the oppressed.
