She said the definitive solution to prevent this state sponsor of terrorism from acquiring the world’s most dangerous weapon is its overthrow by the Iranian people and their organized resistance.

Call to Address Human Rights Violations

Mrs. Rajavi further stressed that the UN Security Council must address the Iranian regime’s executions and systemic human rights violations while dealing with its nuclear program as a threat to international security.

She referred to 72 distinct condemnations by the UN General Assembly and other UN organs.

Mrs. Rajavi said that the immediate referral of the clerical regime’s human rights record to the Security Council is a critical and urgent demand of the Iranian people and the Resistance.

The rally took place as the IAEA Board of Governors was meeting. Demonstrators called for international action against the Iranian regime’s nuclear ambitions and repression.

The rally highlighted the call of the Iranian people for the overthrow of the clerical dictatorship and for a non-nuclear Iran.
