Uprisings

The Roots of the Nationwide Uprisings & its Prospect international conference on Aug 25, 2018 brought together Iranian communities across Europe and North America, supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in commemoration of the #1988Massacre of 30,000 political prisoners mostly affiliated with the PMOI/MEK in Iran. In this conference Iranian communities called for the international community to:

• Support Iran Protests and aspirations of the Iranian people for regime change & establishment of democracy
• Condemn Mullahs’ human rights violations & terrorism

Prosecute the perpetrators of the 1988 Massacre; most of which are among the highest officials in the regime and are directly involved in suppressing the uprising.

• Adopt a firm policy towards the theocratic regime ruling Iran
