Today, the Trial of Hamid Noury, and Tomorrow Will Be Khamenei and Raisi’s Turn, Says MEK Network

August 13, 2021—The trial of Hamid Noury, one of the perpetrators of the 1988 massacre, is in process in Sweden. The PMOI/MEK Resistance Units refer to this incident and say that the trial of the Iranian regime’s new president Ebrahim Raisi and the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei are also on the horizon.

In the summer of 1988, over 30,000 political prisoners were summarily executed by the Iranian regime. Most of them were members and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

Noury was among the regime’s torturers in the prison of Gohardasht. Noury is being tried for his role in the 1988 massacre, a tragedy that has been described as a crime against humanity by many human rights experts.
