Iran, November 9, 2021—After months of playing for time, Iran’s regime has agreed on a date to resume nuclear talks in Vienna: November 29.

But Tehran has set demands that would give it a free pass to continue pursuing nuclear weapons and wreak havoc across the Middle East.

FM spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh has demanded the U.S. provide guarantees it will not withdraw from a possible deal.
U.S. must recognize its fault in the recent nuclear escalation with Tehran, Khatibzadeh said. The U.S. must lift all Trump-era sanctions in a verifiable process, he added.
