Iran’s Regime Is Doing Nothing to Help Flood Victims

The devastating flood in large parts of Iran and the inaction of the mullahs' regime have created difficult conditions for the people.
The devastating flood in large parts of Iran and the inaction of the mullahs’ regime have created difficult conditions for the people.

As seasonal floods continue to ravage large swaths of Iran, the regime is doing nearly nothing to help the victims.

MP Moein Al-Din Saeidi: Konarak, Chabahar, Dashtyari, and Zarabad are flooded—Tehran officials are still in hibernation.

There has been no help, from nowhere. No official has come here. Our homes are under water. [These officials] have gathered here for nothing. They just took pictures and did nothing.

State-run Aftab-e Yazd: As usual, officials are caught by surprise… There has been no investment in this domain.

The mayor, governor, Red Crescent, they’re all thieves. We’re faced with this every year. You don’t have the machinery to stop this?

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), sent the message in this regard.
Mrs. Rajavi extended her sincere sympathies to the flood victims across the country and offered her condolences to the families of the victims, especially in Fars, Kerman and Sistan and Baluchestan. Wishing the injured a speedy recovery, Mrs. Rajavi called on the public, especially the youth, to rush to the aid of the victims and the homeless and provide assistance to them.

Shame on the criminal mullahs who have plundered the country’s resources or squandered them on unpatriotic nuclear and missile programs and warmongering projects, doubling the suffering of our people in the face of natural disasters, the NCRI President-elect added.
