On Jan 7, the state-run Bahar-news website acknowledged high inflation rate prevents people from purchasing fruits.

“The skyrocketing prices, and people’s inability to buy fruits, forces sellers to throw their products away,” Bahar news reported.

“The high inflation rate and skyrocketing prices of basic consumer goods deprive people of affording fruit.”

While Iranians cannot make ends meet, the regime squanders billions of dollars on its malign activities.
