Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 37–October 22, 2022

October 22, 2022: Saturday, October 22, marked the 37th consecutive day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have up to now expanded to 197 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 400 civilians and arrested 20,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 241 killed protesters.

October 22, 2022: Protests in Tabriz, Mahabad, Marivan, Bukan, Bandar-e Lengeh, Kermanshah, Shahsavar, Mashhad, Marvdasht, Gohardasht, Saqqez, and Baneh.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the NCRI sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, and said: On the 37th day of Iran protests, all sectors of Iranian society, including university and high school students, workers, and bazaar merchants rose up and filled the Iranian political scene in Iran and abroad with cries of “Death to Khamenei.”
