October 23, 2022: Sunday, October 23, marked the 38th day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have up to now expanded to 197 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.
According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 400 civilians and arrested 20,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 260 killed protesters.

October 23, 2022: Protests in Tehran, Isfahan, Bandar Abbas, Jahrom, Dezful, Karaj, Gohardasht, Yasuj, Yazd, Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Urmia, Saqqez, Mashhad, Mahabad, Parand, and Divandarreh.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the NCRI sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, and said: “The PMOI/MEK published the names of 260 martyrs of the current uprising, 118 of whom were slain in Zahedan. These shining stars of Iran’s history are the sacrifice of our nation for freedom and people’s sovereignty, promising the end of religious fascism.”
Mrs. Rajavi added: “The clerical regime’s crimes should be referred to the UNSC; its leaders must face justice for 4 decades of crimes against humanity & genocide. The killing of children, people of Zahedan, and Evin prisoners during Iran protests are 3 examples of crime against humanity.”
