October 28, 2022: Friday, October 28, marked the 43rd day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 203 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.
According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 450 civilians and arrested 25,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 260 killed protesters.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message about the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and protests in Zahedan and said: “In week7 of nationwide uprising, our compatriots in Zahedan, Saravan, Suran, Iranshahr and throughout Baluchestan have shaken the pillars of the clerical regime with their chants of “Death to Khamenei. They have given IRGC and Bassiji forces an unforgettable lesson.”
She added: “We salute the Baluchi youth slain today by Khamenei’s mercenaries. I urge all youth to rush to the aid of the people of Zahedan. The world must reject the mullahs’ regime for its crimes against humanity and recognize the Iranian people’s struggle to overthrow the regime.”
Mrs. Rajavi, in another message on the people’s uprising in Kurdistan, said: “My Kurdish compatriots have bravely cornered the regime in the past 3 days. I salute the heroic children of Mahabad who’ve sacrificed their lives for freedom and people’s sovereignty. These brutal killings only add to the Iranian people’s determination to topple the regime.”
