Iran Revolution: Protests Continue in Iran’s Cities for 20th Day – October 5, 2022

October 5, 2022: Wednesday, October 5, marked the 20th day of anti-regime protests across Iran despite heavy security measures, repression, and internet restrictions.

In Qom, a large crowd had gathered in one of the main streets and were chanting, “No fear! We are all together!”
In Nurabad, Fars province, protesters set fire to a monument in one of the squares.
In Talesh, Gilan province, protesters blocked the roads with fire and resisted security forces that were dispatched to disperse the rallies.

Protesters in Ahvaz burned down a large billboard of Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

Tehran’s residents: “Death to the dictator!”

Tehran—October 5, 2022: A crowd gathered in Valiasr street at night and chanted, “Death to the dictator!” targeting regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

Demonstrations in Sanandaj and Shiraz

October 5, 2022: Protests continued in several Iranian cities on Wednesday. In Sanandaj, protesters lit fires in streets to hamper the movement of repressive forces. In Isfahan, the people marched in streets at night and chanted anti-regime slogans.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the NCRI sent a message on the 20th night of Iran protests and said: “On the 20th night of Iran protests the courageous youths have risen up in Tehran, Kermanshah, Saqqez, Isfahan, Kerman, Mashhad, Qom, Jolfa, Nurabad Mamasani, etc. with chants of “Death to Khamenei” and clashed with security forces. People are resolved for Iran Revolution 2022.”
