Students Hold Protest Rallies Across Iran – October 3, 2022

October 3, 2022: Various cities of Iran saw University students launch major protest rallies in solidarity with the ongoing nationwide uprising against the mullahs’ regime, on Monday, October 3.

Urmia University: Students were chanting, “Jailed students must be released!”

Mashhad: Students shouted: “They killed the students of Sharif University, and they claim they didn’t kill Mahsa!”

Kashan University: Students shouted, “Sharif University is drenched in blood! Where is your pride!”

Tabriz, East Azarbaijan Provence: In Madani University, students chanted, “Detained college students must be released!”

Protests resume in Tehran’s universities – October 3, 2022

Tehran—October 3, 2022: One day after the Iranian regime’s bloody crackdown on protests in Tehran’s Sharif University, students across Tehran resumed their protest rallies.

Universities where protests were reported include Khajeh Nasir University, Tehran University, Azad University, Tarbiat Modares University, and Tehran University’s School of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Students Hold Protest Rallies Across Iran – October 2, 2022

October 2, 2022: Protests continued in several Iranian cities on Sunday, October 2.

The main site of these protests was Tehran’s Sharif University of Technology, where students were protesting during the day and regime security forces surrounded the campus by nightfall.

This campus was surrounded by the regime’s security forces to prevent the students from joining the street protests spreading in various parts of the capital.

Security forces shot pellet rounds into the crowds of Sharif University students who were attempting to leave the campus grounds. Many were also arrested and transferred to Evin Prison, according to reports.

The students, however, stood their ground and showed brave resistance despite the regime’s heavy crackdown measures. But despite the crackdown, students resumed their protests across Iran on Monday, October 3.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the NCRI sent a message on Students protest rallies and said: “In the wake of Sharif University students’ bold confrontation with the regime’s forces, students held protests in Science and Industry, Isfahan, Mashhad, Birjand, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Sanandaj, Semnan, Najafabad, Yazd, Zanjan, Urmia universities among others”.


Mrs. Rajavi added: “In the wake of Sharif University students’ bold confrontation with the regime’s forces, students held protests in Science and Industry, Isfahan, Mashhad, Birjand, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Sanandaj, Semnan, Najafabad, Yazd, Zanjan, Urmia universities among others”.
