October 16, 2022: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) demonstrated in London, Stockholm, and Geneva to express solidarity with the nationwide Iran Protests and against the brutal attack on Tehran’s Evin Prison.
It is worth mentioning that Iran’s nationwide uprising rose to a new level on Saturday, October 15, with protests continuing across the country and the mullahs’ regime launching a brutal attack on Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison.
A major fire broke out in the facility, and reports indicate the regime’s security forces launched attacks into various sections of Evin, especially wards 7 and 8.
Upon hearing the news of the fire, shooting, and explosion in Evin prison and the dispatch of special repression forces there, the freedom-loving Iranians, the Iranian resistance supporters, gathered immediately at midnight in front of the embassies of the terrorist regime of Iran.
These rallies continued on Sunday, October 16, including in London, Stockholm, and Geneva.
Iranians called on the international community and European countries to condemn this crime of the Iranian regime and take immediate action to ensure the safety of the prisoners and detainees.
Iranian Resistance supporters in London, Stockholm, and Geneva also called on the international community to support the nationwide Iranian protests and adopt a firm policy against the mullahs’ regime.
Moreover, freedom-loving Iranians in London, Stockholm, and Geneva honored the memory of Mahsa Amini and the martyrs of the Iran Revolution.
The brutal murder of Mahsa Amini by Khamenei’s criminal agents has created a wave of anger and
hatred throughout Iran and other countries worldwide, especially among Iranian communities abroad.
