Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 46–October 31, 2022

October 31, 2022: Monday, October 31, marked the 46h day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 206 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 450 civilians and arrested 25,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 260 killed protesters.

October 31, 2022: Student protests in Tabriz, Tehran, Dezful, Rasht, Zanjan, Sanandaj, Shahrud, Shiraz, Qazvin, Mashhad, Karaj, Urmia, Bushehr, and Islamshahr.

On Monday, college students in at least 25 universities across Iran. These protesters are once again defying any and all warnings issued by regime officials, despite the heavy crackdown witnessed in the past few days.  In Marivan, high school students and locals joined the college students’ rallies.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message about the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and said: “The people of Iran, especially women and youths, have risen up to overthrow the regime and achieve freedom. They are fed up with the mullahs’ brutal suppression, hostility toward women, religious discrimination, and poverty.”

Mrs. Rajavi in another message said: “In Sarina’s funeral and on the 40th day of the martyrdom of Mohsen Gheiari and Erfan Khazei, Ilam and Shahriar rose up.”

“IRGC which attacked with batons and bullets received a crushing response:“for everyone killed,1,000 rise up,” “We pledge to the blood of comrades to stand to the end.”
