Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message about the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and said: “On Day 48 of Iran protests, students at Sistan and Baluchestan University chanted, “Freedom, equality, Kurd, Baluch, and Azeri,” insisting on the desire for democracy and equality for all ethnic groups in Iran, only realized by overthrowing the clerical regime.”

She added: “I salute the mothers and fathers who at the graves of their loved ones urge people to rise up for freedom. Iranian youths and teenagers vow to stand to the end to overthrow the regime and achieve the ideals of their slain sisters and brothers.”

Mrs. Rajavi in another message said: “Freedom-loving people and youths marked the 40th day of martyrdom of Hannaneh Kia, the beloved daughter of the people of Nowshahr despite shootings by repressive forces.
