On Friday, protests resumed in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan despite heavy security measures by the regime. In Saravan, locals held protest rallies at a mosque and chanted anti-regime slogans, including “Death to Khamenei!” Security forces attacked and opened fire on them, but the protesters continued their rallies and resisted the repressive forces. Similar protests were also reported in the city of Suran.

In Khash, protesters resisted the regime’s repressive forces and attacked the governor’s office. And in Rask, despite heavy security measures, the citizens held their protest rallies. There are dozens of locals wounded after security forces opened fire on the protesters. Activists say the city hospital cannot cope with the high number of wounded patients.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message about the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people especially in Baluchestan and said: On Day 50 of Iran protests, Khamenei embarked on a new massacre against our fellow Baluch citizens. His forces barraged the people of Khash, who were marching with chants of “death to Khamenei” after Friday prayers. At least 20 were killed, and more than 60 wounded.

Mrs. Rajavi added: Uprisings in Zahedan, Khash, in Sistan-and-Baluchestan prove that our Baluch compatriots are determined to bring down the bloodthirsty religious fascism. They have paid the highest price with chants of “from Zahedan to Tehran, we give our lives for Iran”.

“Khamenei has committed another crime against humanity by slaughtering the worshipers protesting in Khash. The world must reject a regime relying on crimes against humanity and genocide. The UNSC must examine the case, and regime leaders, esp. Khamenei and Raisi, must face justice.”
