Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 61–November 15, 2022

November 15, 2022: Tuesday, November 15, marked the 61st day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 220 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 550 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 402 killed protesters.

November 15, 2022: Protests in Rasht, Rudyar, Zahedan, Zanjan, Sabzevar, Saqqez, Semnan, Sanandaj, Shahrud, Shahriar, Shahsavar, Shiraz, Eqlid, Fuladshahr, Qazvin, Lahijan, Marvdasht, Mashhad, Mahabad, Hamedan, Kamyaran, Karaj, Kerman, Kermanshah, Gorgan, and Yazd.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message about the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and said: “National observation of the anniversary of November 2019 uprising – Businessmen & shop owners went on strike in Tehran, Shiraz, Rasht, Bandar Abbas. Marvdasht, Arak, Shemiran, Isfahan, Yazd, Najafabad, Kazerun and Kurdish cities to commemorate those slain in November 2019.”

She added: “College students in Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan, Shiraz, Hamedan, Mashhad, .. joined the brave ppl of Kuhdasht, Lorestan. Chanting “Death to the dictator” and “Free all imprisoned students,” they underline Iranian people’s perseverance from November 2019 to the spring of a democratic revolution.”

Mrs. Rajavi in another message said: “I salute the Steel Mill workers of Isfahan who, in step with Bazaar merchants and brave students, came to the streets today to commemorate the martyrs of November 2019, to demand the rights of all the oppressed people of Iran.
Workers, teachers, farmers and all the oppressed strata know that the only way to liberty and justice, to achieve their legitimate rights, is overthrowing the mullahs’ regime in its entirety and establishing democracy.“
