Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 67–November 21, 2022

November 21, 2022: Monday, November 21, marked the 67th day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 243 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 625 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 485 killed protesters.

November 21, 2022: Protests in Javanrud, Piranshahr, Karaj, Marvdasht, Kermanshah, Eslamshahr, Bonab, Bushehr, Tehran, Takab, Dehloran, Dehgolan, Ravansar, Sari, Saqqez, Sanandaj, Sisakht, Qods city, Fardis, Qazvin, and Mahallat.

Iranian security forces carry out massacre in Javanrud (جوانرود) | Iran protests

During Sunday’s protest in Javanrud, regime security forces killed at least two unarmed civilians. On Monday, the locals gathered for the funeral of Erfan Kakaie (عرفان کاکایی) & Baha’edin Veisi (بهاالدین ویسی).

The funerals turned into anti-regime rallies. Security forces attacked the mourners and opened fire on their ranks. According to the locals, security forces used heavy machine guns. Early reports indicate that several people were killed by security forces.

The locals rushed to hospitals in Javanrud to donate blood to the wounded. As in previous days, protesters in Javanrud held their ground and resisted the regime’s brutal security forces.

Iran protests: anti-regime in Piranshahr (پیرانشهر), security forces open fire on demonstrators

On Monday, the people of Piranshahr gathered for the funeral of 16-year-old Karevan Ghaderi (کاروان قادری). Ghaderi is one of hundreds of civilians murdered by security forces during recent nationwide protests in Iran.
The funeral turned into a mass protest. The regime’s security forces opened fire on the protesters.
According to reports, several people have been killed and injured.

Protests across Iran following massacre in Javanrud and Piranshahr

On Monday, Iran’s regime carried out a brutal massacre in Javanrud. Security forces used assault rifles and heavy machine guns against unarmed civilians. Dozens of deaths and injuries were reported by locals.

At the same time, the regime carried out an attack against peaceful protesters in Piranshahr. Security forces opened fire on protesters.

Following the massacre, people in different cities across the country poured into the streets in support of Javanrud and Piranshahr.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message about the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and said: “Javanrud is drenched in blood. Shame on Khamenei &his IRGC, who opened heavy machinegun fire on defenseless mourners. Dozens were killed or wounded With every person whose blood is spilled, the Iranian youth become even more determined to bring down the mullahs’ criminal regime.”

She added: “The people of Javanrud, Mahabad, Piranshahr, Kermanshah, Bushehr, Marvdasht turned their martyrs’ funerals into new anti-regime protests. They proved that “armors, helicopters, & heavy machineguns are no longer effective!” The uprising will carry on until victory.”
