Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 71–November 25, 2022

November 25, 2022: Friday, November 25, marked the 71st day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 255 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 660 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 528 killed protesters.

Iran protests Security forces open fire on demonstrators in Zahedan

On Friday, people in different cities of Sistan and Baluchestan province held protest rallies in Zahedan, Khash, Chabahar, Nukabad, and other cities. Protesters chanted their support for the people of Kurdistan. Security forces opened fire on protesters in Zahedan.

According to reports, dozens have been injured and killed by security forces in Zahedan. Security forces also opened fire on protesters in Khash. Protesters continued their rally despite heavy security presence. Protests continued into the night.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, especially in Baluchestn on Friday, November 25, and said: “Once again, today, our brave Baluch compatriots took to the streets of Zahedan, Khash, Iranshahr, Chabahar, Pishin, … With chants of “Death to Khamenei,” “Bassij, IRGC, you are our ISIS,” and “We support Kurdistan,” they challenged the brutal revolutionary guards.”

Mrs. Rajavi added: “They showed that they have no qualms about paying any price to achieve a free and democratic Iran. I urge the youth to rush to the aid of the courageous Baluch protesters, esp. those wounded.”
