Iran Protests—Day 103–December 27, 2022

December 27, 2022: Tuesday, December 27 marked the 103rd day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 280 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 750 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 601 killed protesters.

December 27, 2022: Protests and strikes in Mahabad, Tehran, Bukan, and Tabriz.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, and said: “To achieve freedom, the Iranian people and Resistance do not want or need interference from any foreign governments in Iranian affairs, but they expect all governments, to refrain from giving concessions or assistance to their enemy.”

Mrs. Rajavi in another message said: “40 days after the murder of Aylar Haghi the heroic people of Tabriz renewed their vows at her tomb, chanting, “Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is illegitimate.” The courageous youths of Iran will soon overthrow religious fascism, and establish democracy and people’s sovereignty.”
