Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and said: “The Iranian regime fears even the bodies of the martyrs. They break their tombstones, snatch the bodies & bury them secretly to prevent families from holding funerals. The regime projects their deaths as accidents. They will receive a fiery response by people in.”

Mrs. Rajavi, in another message, said: “Since the mullahs came to power in Iran, the PMOI has opposed the regime’s misogyny and at that time the PMOI condemned the compulsory veil. On March 8, 1979, PMOI women were beaten by the regime’s forces for defending women without veil.”
