December 31, 2022: Saturday, December 31 marked the 107th day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 282 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.
According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 750 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 601 killed protesters.

December 31, 2022: Protests and strikes in Tehran, Javanrud, Semirom, Najafabad, Piranshahr, Sanandaj, Isfahan, Rasht, and Abadan.
December 31 – Javanrud, Kermanshah Province: Borhan Eliasi, 22, was killed by regime security forces today, according to social media reports and local activists, during a ceremony held for people killed by the mullahs’ regime 40 days ago.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, and said: “Khamenei fears even the commemoration of slain protesters. In Javanrud, people gathered to pay tribute to 7 protesters killed 40 days ago. Security forces opened fire, killing another brave young man, Borhan Eliasi. These crimes will only fuel the flames of Iran protests.”
