January 13, 2023: Friday, January 13, marked the 120th day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 282 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.
According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 750 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 627 killed protesters.

In Zahedan, people have taken to the streets on Friday and launched their anti-regime rallies with slogans targeting the mullahs’ rule. Brave protesters began marching in a large demonstration and were seen chanting:
“Basij and IRGC, you are our enemies!”
“Death to the dictator!”
“Death to Khamenei!”
“No to monarchy! No to [mullahs’ regime]! Democracy and equality!”
“No to the so-called Islamic republic!”

Brave MEK Resistance Units marched in Tehran and chanted slogans against the regime as protests continue across the country.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a message on the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, and said: “Our Baluch compatriots once again took to the streets of Zahedan, denouncing the principle of Velayat-e Faqih, rejecting both the monarchic and religious dictatorships. They underscored the Iranian people’s desire for people’s sovereignty and the regime’s overthrow.”
Mrs. Rajavi in another message said: “Recognition of the Iranian people’s uprising to overthrow the regime and the rejection of the suppressive forces, IRGC, is a show of a government standing with the Iranian people.”
