On the anniversary of the unforgettable epic of February 8, 1982, the Resistance Units network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) inside Iran commemorated this day by spreading activities across the cities of Iran.
They honored the memory of these heroes and their sacrifices and emphasized their continuation in the struggle against the dictatorship of the mullahs in Iran until the realization of freedom and the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime.
It is worth noting that on February 8, 1982, a significant event unfolded when the IRGC of the mullahs’ regime besieged the headquarters of the MEK, resulting in the tragic loss of prominent leaders of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
Leading this brave group were emblematic figures such as Ashraf Rajavi, symbolizing the resilience of women within the Mojahedin, and Mousa Khiabani, a towering figure and commander among the freedom fighters.
Pictures of some of these activities by the MEK Resistance Units in different cities are as follows. It is worth noting that this brief report does not reflect all activities in cities across Iran.
