Iran, February 8, 2024: The Resistance Units, a network of supporters within Iran affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), continued to organize various activities in remembrance of the anniversary of Ashraf Rajavi, Mousa Khiabani, and other PMOI members who were tragically killed by the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) on February 8, 1982.

In addition, MEK Resistance Units projected images of Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI, along with those of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi, in Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Kermanshah, and Shahr-e Kord in commemoration of Ashraf and Mousa.
In these projected images, we see the leadership of the Iranian resistance commemorating Ashraf and Mousa, with Massoud Rajavi stating, “Ashraf and Mousa, the immortal symbols of the Iranian people,” and Maryam Rajavi expressing, “Infinite greetings to Ashraf and Mousa and their companions.

It is worth noting that on February 8, 1982, a significant event unfolded when the IRGC of the mullahs’ regime besieged the headquarters of the MEK, resulting in the tragic loss of prominent leaders of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
Leading this brave group were emblematic figures such as Ashraf Rajavi, symbolizing the resilience of women within the Mojahedin, and Mousa Khiabani, a towering figure and commander among the freedom fighters.
