Zurich, August 12, 2024: MEK Supporters Hold Exhibition to Condemn Wave of Executions by the Mullahs’ Regime in Iran

Zurich, Switzerland—August 12, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition to protest the increasing wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime. They also called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the prisons of the mullahs’ regime in Iran and expressed their solidarity with the Iranian Revolution.

Iranian community in Zurich condemned the execution of political prisoner Reza Rasaei and renewed their commitment to continuing the struggle against dictatorship until the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime and the achievement of freedom and justice.

MEK supporters in Zurich demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, in an international court.

Iranians demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners from the prisons of the mullahs’ regime in Iran. They also condemned the brutal repression of Iranian women under the pretext of hijab and supported the resistance of Iranian women against the oppression of the regime with the slogan of women, resistance, freedom.

Iranians said that ending appeasement of Iran’s belligerent, terrorist regime, is an imperative to ensure regional, global peace, and security.

The Iranian community in Zurich, Switzerland, explained to Swiss citizens visiting the exhibition of photos of martyrs from the Iranian uprising that nothing will change in Iran with the replacement of the president in the regime’s sham elections. They emphasized that only the overthrow of this dictatorial regime will bring freedom to the Iranian people. The Swiss citizens, in agreement, expressed their support for the Iranian people’s cause for freedom.

They demanded recognition of the resistance and the right of the Iranian people and the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.

Swiss citizens visited the exhibition and signed a petition in solidarity with the Iranian nationwide uprising.
