Bern—October 4, 2024: MEK Supporters Rally and Exhibition Condemn the Iranian Regime’s Crimes

Bern – October 4, 2024

Bern, Switzerland—October 4, 2024: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and exhibition to protest the increasing wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime. They called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons and expressed their solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution

The Iranian community in Bern also voiced their support for the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, which responds to the regime’s continued use of executions in Iranian prisons.

The event in Bern aimed to raise awareness about the dire human rights situation in Iran and the plight of political prisoners facing death sentences. Participants displayed banners and distributed information highlighting the regime’s use of capital punishment against dissidents, particularly MEK supporters.

MEK supporters in Bern called for the leaders of the mullahs’ regime to be tried in an international court for crimes against humanity.

In addition, they demanded recognition of the resistance movement and the right of the Iranian people, including the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran, to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.

The rally also condemned the brutal repression of Iranian women under the pretext of enforcing the hijab and supported their resistance with the slogan “Women, Resistance, Freedom.”

Swiss citizens visited the exhibition and signed a petition in solidarity with the nationwide uprising in Iran.
