The Nuclear Talks Game Played by the Regime, New Report by NCRI-US

Coinciding with the anniversary of the start of the mullahs’ regime nuclear talks with JCPOA members in Vienna, the U.S. Representative Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-USreleased its new publication, entitled ‘Iran: The Nuclear Talks Game Played by the Regime’ on April 7, 2022.

The Report includes statements and opinions by bi-partisan lawmakers and national security experts who argue strongly against any Iran sanctions relief and IRGC‘s FTO delisting.

Published in seventy pages and fourteen chapters, this book shows the critical situation of the mullahs’ regime and the weakness and helplessness of the regime in the face of the nationwide uprisings of the Iranian people and the increasing activities of the MEK Resistance Units. It shows that the Iranian regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei fears the continuation of the uprisings of the past four years; he has resorted to appointing Ebrahim Raisi on the one hand and giving absolute power to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

The book highlights statements by members of both the Democratic and Republican parties in the Senate and House of Representatives and senior U.S. national security experts about the need to pressure the clerical regime and cancel any concessions, especially to the IRGC.

Leading experts have also addressed the right policy toward the Iranian regime, which is to stand by the Iranian people and support the demand of most Iranian people to overthrow the religious dictatorship and establish a republic based on the people’s sovereignty and separation of religion and state.

This book contains the views of members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives from both the Democratic and Republican parties, former U.S. officials, U.S. Army generals, and experts from several prominent think tanks.

They have all looked at the Iranian regime’s behavior and its critical situation from different angles and concluded that the only appropriate policy is to be decisive against the regime, to continue the sanctions, to keep the IRGC on the Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO), and to hold the regime officials accountable, as well as to recognize the right of the Iranian people to determine the fate and overthrow of the bloodthirsty rulers.
