September 13, 2022 – Vienna: For the second day, at the same time as the Board of Governors of the IAEA meeting, freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally.
Iranian Resistance supporters expressed their protest against the appeasement policy and paying privileges to the mullahs’ regime.
MEK supporters demanded the international community’s determination towards the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons program, including the referral of its nuclear case to the United Nations Security Council and the activation of the six sanctions resolutions of the UNSC against the mullahs’ regime.
In its latest report, the IAEA announced that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium with a purity of 60% had reached 55 kg, which is more than the amount required to produce an atomic bomb if enriched with higher purity.
Also, they called the U.S. Government not to grant a visa for the mullahs’ regime President Ebrahim Raisi for UNGA77 because of his role in the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners in Iran.
Freedom-Loving Iranians and MEK Supporters in Vienna Commemorated Navid Afkari’s Martyrdom Anniversary
In addition, in this gathering, freedom-loving Iranians and MEK supporters commemorated Navid Afkari on the anniversary of his martyrdom by the mullahs’ regime.
Afkari arrested in 2018 in relation to nationwide anti-regime protests in Fars province. He brutally tortured by the regime’s prison agents and sentenced to execution on bogus charges. Despite an international campaign calling for the revocation of Afkari’s death sentence, the regime executed him on September 12, 2020, triggering a wave of national and international outrage.
Iranians, in their rallies, condemned human rights violations in Iran by the bloodshed mullahs‘ regime and increased executions in the country.
