Iran Protests Round-Up—Day 24 – October 9, 2022

October 9, 2022: Sunday, October 9, marked the 24th consecutive day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime. Iran’s protests have up to now expanded to 175 cities and all 31 provinces across the country. According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 400 civilians and arrested 20,000 others.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the NCRI sent a message on the Iran protests and said: “On the 24th day of Iran protests, cries of “death to the dictator” and “death to Khamenei” resonate across the country. Students, women, and youths have risen up in Sanandaj, Mahabad, Saqqez, Bukan, Zanjan, Yasuj, Tehran, Kermanshah, Isfahan, etc.”

Mrs Rajavi added: “The solution is the definitive destruction and dismantling of the Revolutionary Guards by the uprisings and the Iranian people’s great army of freedom; by the rebellious cities and Resistance Units.”
