Brussels, Belgium—April 24, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians, and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), demonstrated in front of the EU Council of Ministers at the same time as the EU Foreign Ministers’ Meeting. Iranian Resistance supporters demanded to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization. They also expressed solidarity with the nationwide Iran protests.
Iranians chanted slogans to overthrow the mullahs’ regime. Demonstrators in Brussels called for the expulsion of the Iranian regime’s MOIS agents from European soil and demanded the closure of the regime’s embassies.
Paulo Casaca, a former member of the European Parliament from Portugal and Father Daniel, addressed the demonstrators and expressed his support for the revolution of the Iranian people and called for the designation of the Mullahs’ regime IRGC as a terrorist organization by the EU.
In this rally, MEK supporters condemned Iran’s regime chemical attacks on the schoolgirls and poisoning at the schools across the country.
The demonstrators also emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of the Shah’s regime.
In addition, the freedom-loving Iranians urged the international community to support the people of Iran by recognizing the rights of Iranians to self-defense despite mounting violence by the regime.
