London—September 9, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally opposite the Prime Minister’s Office at 10 Downing Street, urging the UK and the UN to save the lives of Iranian political prisoners, especially those who are on a hunger strike in Ghezel Hesar prison. These prisoners have endured years of captivity, subjected to both physical and psychological torture.
This rally has been held after the brutal attack and beating of political prisoners in Evin prison and the transfer of a group of them to Ghezel Hesar prison by the mullahs’ regime suppressor forces. Political prisoners are under very difficult circumstances, and their lives are in danger.
Iranian Resistance supporters called on all compatriots and human rights organizations to take immediate action to save the lives of Iranian political prisoners in Ghezel Hesar prison.
