The MEPs characterized the assault as a cowardly act and called upon Spanish authorities to initiate a comprehensive investigation. They insisted that those responsible for the attack must be brought to justice without any reservations or political considerations.
The joint statement highlighted Dr. Vidal-Quadras’s unwavering support for the Iranian people and the NCRI, attributing the attack to the Iranian regime’s opposition to his principled stance against Tehran’s actions. Having served 15 years as Vice President of the European Parliament, Dr. Vidal-Quadras currently leads the International Committee In Search of Justice.
