Ottawa, Canada—April 6, 2024: Despite snowy and freezing weather, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a rally to express solidarity with the Iranian Revolution.
They honored the memory of the MEK martyrs on April 8, 2011 in Ashraf, who were massacred by the Iraqi mercenaries of the Mullahs’ regime.
MEK supporters in Ottawa demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders, especially Ali Khamenei (Supreme leader of the mullahs’ regime) and the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi for crimes against humanity, in an international court.
The Iranian community in Ottawa emphasized the Iranian people seeking a democratic republic and rejecting any kind of dictatorship, be it the mullahs or a return to that of Shah’s regime.
They asked the international community to recognize the right of self-defense of the Iranian people against the religious dictatorship.
In addition, the Iranian Resistance supporters in Ottawa urged the international community to support the Iranian Revolution and take a firm stance against the oppressive regime of the mullahs.
Iranian community in Ottawa demanded the designation of Iran’s regime IRGC as a terrorist organization by the Canadian government, due to its terrorist and warmongering activities and the crimes and repression against Iranian people and protesters.
