Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Hamburg, Germany on September 5, 2024, to commemorate the beginning of the 60th year since the MEK‘s establishment.
The celebration participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the MEK’s ongoing struggle to establish freedom, democracy, and human rights in Iran. They expressed strong backing for the People’s Mojahedin Organization’s leadership and its efforts to bring about revolutionary change in Iran, opposing the current religious dictatorship.
The Iranian community in Hamburg emphasized their desire for a democratic republic, rejecting both the current theocratic regime and any potential return to a monarchical system. They voiced their support for the MEK‘s vision of a free and democratic Iran.
Furthermore, the demonstrators called on the international community to stand with the Iranian people in their pursuit of change. They urged the German government to take a firm stance against the oppressive rule of the mullahs and support the Iranian people’s aspirations for freedom.
This gathering in Hamburg showcased the continued relevance and support for the MEK among Iranians abroad, as the organization enters its sixth decade of activism.
